I will want about 75,000 Gold ore for 95-99, that’s like 16M. While I sell all pubs that are going to RuneScape gold be 28M, so I will make about 11-12M gain. I believe this to be right, it’s just confusing when I had been thinking about it in my mind. And I was tired because it was like 4:30AM. I also did not add the potential amount of money gap if I were to market the Gold ore up front instead of use it to train Smithing, so that probably made it confusing for me.
This is certainly not the ideal method but it’s the way I do it and it works. It’s also pretty inexpensive if you do it right, at least I make money every trip (not much but still profit) even when I don’t get a Barrows item. Black dragonhide top/legs (I typically use what is left of my prayer points to kill Ahrim but when for some reason I have ran from PP when I am battling Ah the Black dragonhide helps). Monkfish/Sharks/Swordfish, Super set (I don’t use a super set but if your battle stats are lower than mine you’ll probably need)
This is the Slayer dart method basically: Have DH first (don’t forget to pray). Ahrims (use what is left of your prayer + dragonhide and a melee weapon). Verac (many men and women beg here but I do not like using Prayer pots so that I just tank and use my food to cure ). Guthan (hes a slice of cake, shouldn’t give you much trouble). Torag (even easier than Guthan). If you are wondering why I have a Prayer potion it is if I get a DH tunnel, you always need to pray when fighting DH because he can hit pretty hard.
I normally receive a KC of 20ish, it doesn’t help getting Barrow items more frequently but it helps becoming more runes/racks etc.. This really isn’t the most effective strategy but works for me, my stats are 99 Attack/97 Strength/95 Defence/98 HP/80 Prayer/90 Magic/80 Ranged, so in the event you’ve got similar stats it should be a piece of cake. (But I’m a noob:P, if your stats are like mine there are much better Barrow methods.
This is definitely not the best method but it’s the way I do it and it works. Additionally, it is pretty inexpensive if you do it correctly, at least that I earn money every excursion (not much but nevertheless gain ) even when I do not buy a Barrows item. Wait, maging in melee equipment? Would not that simply dab. Additionally, is there some quests I got to perform other then preist in peril (I finish this one soon haha!) The accuracy of Slayer dart isn’t influenced by your magic bonus, it merely affects how hard you hit with it so that it’s better to just take melee armour for buy rs 3 gold greater defensive bonuses. Damage, however, is not.
